LUKASZ SKROBEK graduated from The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (vocal and acting department). Earlier he graduated from University of Warsaw (speech therapy).

Invited to participate in the XI International Music Festival in Sochi (Russia), where he worked with: D. Vdovin (Bolshoi Theater in Moscow), P. Curran (director), S. Schwarz (Glydenbourn Festival)and B. Hurley (Opera in Zurich).

In 2019 he was invited to take part in two operatic projects in Teatr Wielki - National Opera in Warsaw: OperaEnter and Moniuszko Lounge.

In June 2018 he made his debut in the role of Angelo, in the opera Das Liebesverbot by R. Wagner in the Wroclaw Opera House (dir. V. Perplies). Earlier, he appeared in Mozart's roles - Count in Le Nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni. He also performed the title role of Eugene Onegin in the opera of P. I. Tchaikovsky.

 

Lukas has worked on his vocal technique among others with M. Habela (Haute Ecole de Musique de Géneve); D. Dolan (The Guildhall School of Music and Drama); Ch. Whittlesey (Kunstuniversität Graz); R. Piernay (The Guildhall School of Music and Drama), G. Ovsepian (Armenia), A. Simoni (Georgia), E. Papadia (Italy), V. De Vivo (Accademia d'Arte Lirica d'Osimo) and E. Pessen (Germany, Israel).

 

Awarded on international vocal competitions: the XI International Vocal Competition of N. R. Korsakov (organised by Marinski Theater), the XIX International Vocal Competition in Vrable (Slovakia), the I National Competition of J. Kiepura in Sosnowiec (Poland), VII Vocal Competition N. Obuchowa at the Lipetsk Philharmonic (Russia), II International Competition. G.Perotti in Ueckermunde (Germany).

Lukas also enjoys contemporary music and is often invited to perform in contemporary projects. He presented the songs of American composer Lowell Liebermann during his visit in Poland, appeared in performances at the Warsaw Chamber Opera - the evening of contemporary opera (premiere of “Labirynth Orfea” N. Burzyńska and Wasserstimmen by D. Przybylski), he sang Domini Fili Unigenite - Martin Palmeri, directed by the composer himself.

 

On the concert stage Lukas has performed in: Philharmonic in St. Petersburg (Russia), PR studio, W. Lutosławski in Warsaw, Concert Studio R. Bobrowska on Radio Krakow, Belcanto Festival in Moscow, Russian Academy of Music. Gniesinych in Moscow, the Polish Theater in Warsaw, Royal Łazienki Park, the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Congress Hall of the Palace of Culture and Youth in Warsaw.
