Since 2010 the Polish mezzosoprano Katarzyna Haras is a soloist at the prestigious Wroclaw Breslau Opera in Poland.

Regular performances include Delilah in 'Samson and Delilah' and Octavian in 'Rosenkavalier' as well as Lola in 'Cavelleria Rusticana", Cherubino in 'The Marriage of Figaro', Dorabella in 'Cosi fan tutte', Second Dame in 'The Magic Flute' and Donna Elvira in "Don Giovanni", Alice in 'Lucia di Lammermoor' and Flora in 'La Traviata'. 

In previous seasons she performed also Hedwig in 'The Haunted Manor' St. Moniuszko, the title role in 'Carmen',  Aza in 'Manru' J.I. Paderewski directed by Laco Adamik, Olga in 'Eugene Onegin' and Eboli in "Don Carlo" directed by Waldemar Zawodziński.

Katarzyna Haras graduated with honours from the Department of Vocal Performance at the Karol Szymanowski  Academy of Music, Katowice, Poland where she studied under the guidance of Professor Alice Słowakiewicz - Wolański. She finished her postgraduate studies at the Academy in 2008 and is currently completing her Doctorate.

Gugerbauer; Marcin Nałęcz-Niesiołowski ; Tadeusz Wojciechowski and stage directors Laco Adamik; Wiesław Ochman; Michał Znaniecki; Waldemar Zawodziński; Georg Rootering; Ewelina Pietrowiak; Giancarlo del Monaco; Anette Leistenschneider; Yury Alexandrov; Maciej Prus; Henryk Konwiński.

In addition to her full-time performance schedule Katarzyna is working as a Vocal Coach to a number of undergraduates specializing in vocal performance at the Karol Szymanowski  Academy of Music, Katowice, Poland.
