Dimitrinka Raycheva graduated in Opera singing in the Bulgarian State Musical Academy “Pancho Vladigerov” - Sofia, Bulgaria.

In 2008 she was a finalist of the Young Opera Singers Competition in Alcamo, Sicily and later the same year she was awarded the Special prize in the Myricae International Competition, in Contursi Terme, Italy. There, Dimitrinka was invited to take part in the Master classes of famous opera singer Lella Cuberli.

At the 14th Boris Christoff International Competition for Young Opera Singers, in April 2009, after a successful scene debut as Amelia in “Un ballo in maschera” by Giuseppe Verdi, she was awarded the 3rd  prize.

Between 2010-2013 Dimitrinka participated in the premiere performances of the tetralogy “Der Ring des Nibelungen” by Richard Wagner, on the stage of National Opera and Ballet in Sofia, Bulgaria: „Das Rheingold”- Flosshilde, „Die Walküre” - Waltraute and „Götterdämmerung”- Zweite Norn, Waltraute and Flosshilde.

In 2011, Dimitrinka debuted on the stage of the prestigeous International Musical Festival "Varna Summer" in the role of Amelia from the opera "Un ballo in maschera" by Giuseppe Verdi. Following this successful debut she was invited to become a soloist in the State Opera - Varna, Bulgaria. Since then she works as a full-time solist in the theatre and performs roles such as Aida, Abigaille, Gioconda, Maddalena di Coigny, Tosca, Turandot etc.

Besides  her engagements at the State Opera Varna, Mrs Raycheva appears as a guest soloist in many European theaters and festivals. 

She has sung the title role in AIDA in Oostende and Antwerpen (Belgium), Aspendos (Turkey), National Theatre in Belgrade, Serbia, Forest National in Brussels, Belgium.

August 2014 - “Bansko Opera Festival - 2014” in Bulgaria as Leonora from “Il Trovatore” by G. Verdi

December 2018 - Forest National in Brussels, Belgium as Abigaille from “Nabucco”  by G. Verdi

February 2019 - National Theatre in Belgrade, Serbia as Abigaille from Nabucco (Verdi).
