Short Bio

The young Bass Chanyoung Lee attended the "Hochschule für Musik 'Hanns Eisler' in Berlin", where he graduated with honors in Masters of Vocal Singing. 

 

Afterwards, he won a scholarship at the "Opera di Firenze 'Accademia del Maggio musicale Fiorentino" in Florence, Italy, where he developed his Italian repertoire and debuted on many stages in Italy. 

 

Chanyoung Lee performed on various concerts and opera productions in the opera houses of 'Teatro Opera di Firenze', 'Palazzo Pitti', 'Teatro Goldoni', 'Teatro Manzoni etc. 

He has also performed in 'Daegu Opera House and 'Royal Opera House Muscat' in Oman. 

 

Part of his operatic repertoire includes Don Basilio (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), Falstaff in Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor,  Colline in La Boheme, Timur (Turandot), Dulcamara (Lelisir damore), Dottore Grenvil in La Traviata etc.
